Shuddhi Movie Hero | Not Salman Khan it's Varun Dhawan
Ever since its announcement few months back, Karan Johar’s magnum opus ‘Shuddhi’ has been troubled to search out a lead couple for itself.
First, Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor were finalised. each actors, however, later bowed out of the project citing previous commitments as reason. Then Karan Johar was mulling over casting Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone as the leads.
But before he might approach and settle them, the combine was chosen by Sanjay Leela Bhansali for ‘Goliyon Ki Rasleela – Ram-Leela’. The duo, who started dating one another after the film, then selected to work with Bhansali for the second time in his next venture ‘Bajirao Mastani’. This will be Varun and Alia’s third film along once ‘Student of the Year’ and ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’. each movies have done wonders at the Box office and Alia and Varun’s chemistry has been appreciated.
Individually too, Varun and Alia have inscribed a distinct segment for themselves within the industry. whereas Alia has mesmerized the audiences along with her acting chops in ‘Highway’ and ‘2 States’, Varun Dhawan proven his spunk in the revenge drama ‘Badlapur’.
With the formal announcement, Varun and Alia’s fans took Twitter by storm and #Shuddhi started trending shortly after. There are mixed reactions on this announcement on the Twitterverse, with some supporting KJo’s decision in attempting out a thriving onscreen couple during a massive movie and with some outrightly denigrating the selection of such “young stars” to play Lord Shiva and Sati.
